Tracy Gray is the Conservative candidate for Kelowna-Lake Country. During this exceptional time, she worked tenaciously day and night to serve her community. Since being elected in 2019, Tracy has been very engaged – participating in numerous community meetings and events, holding a public Teleforum townhall, hosting local roundtables, sending mail-in surveys to homes and writing a bi-weekly MP “In Your Service” report which is circulated widely through online and print media.
In Ottawa, Tracy stood up for small businesses, not-for-profits and free speech while standing against tax increases and soaring debt. She was appointed to serve as Shadow Minister for Interprovincial Trade, and then as Shadow Minister for Export Promotion and International Trade, a role that often garnered national attention with the Liberal failures on this file. Tracy also served as Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on International Trade.
Prior to federal political service, Tracy worked a long career in the BC wine and beer sector, including owning Discover Wines wine stores. In this capacity, she was named 2006 RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year and one of BC’s 100 ‘New Pioneers’ in entrepreneurship by the Women’s Enterprise Centre.
Tracy also served as a Kelowna City Councillor for the 2014-2018 term, as well as on several regional boards including Okanagan Film Commission, Okanagan Regional Library Board and Okanagan Basin Water Board.
Tracy actively volunteers in the community and lives in Kelowna with her husband Larry and their dog Ozzy. She also has one adult son.
